Sirloin Sandwich
  • 1 serving of Truly Simple® Sirloin Steak
  • 1 small French baguette
  • 1/4 cup pre-sliced onion
  • 1/4 cup pre-sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp. aioli (or mayonnaise)
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tbsp. dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper

Caramelize the onions in a frypan with ½ oil, sugar, thyme, salt and pepper then remove from pan.

Add remaining 1/2 olive oil and heat it up. Add the mushrooms and cook for 1 minute, stirring often. Add salt and pepper to taste and then remove from pan.

Heat the same pan or a grill and cook on both sides until desired doneness.

Slice baguette and brush the bread with aioli and fill with steak, onions and mushrooms.
