Flat Iron Steak Po’ Boy
  • 1 serving Truly Simple® Flat Iron Steak
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 soft, long brown bread roll
  • 1 tbsp whole-grain mustard
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1 Roma tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup pre-bagged shredded lettuce
  • Hot sauce, optional

Brush beef with oil and season with salt and pepper. Preheat a frying pan over high heat and cook the steaks for 2 minutes each side. Rest for 5-10 minutes and slice thinly.

Open the bread rolls and spread with mustard and avocado. Fill the rolls with lettuce and top with sliced beef and hot sauce.
